About Veromia
Veromia is a British wholesaler, supplying retailers nationwide with Mother of the Bride, occasionwear and inclusive bridal collections. Founded in 2000, the business has evolved with the market while staying true to its focus on well‑made designs that cater for a wide range of shapes and sizes.
Challenge
As Veromia grew, so did the pressures of operating in a fast‑moving market. Retailers were asking for earlier deliveries, faster repeat orders and stronger price points, while customer tastes continued to shift and the bridal landscape changed around them. Adapting the product offer became essential.
Covid added a new layer of strain. When Veromia’s previous invoice finance provider failed to support them at a critical moment, the team suddenly faced uncertainty around cashflow and needed a partner they could depend on to keep orders moving.
Solution
That support came from Bibby Financial Services who stepped in during a difficult period, offering the stability Veromia needed and helping the team regain confidence at a time when the future felt unpredictable.
From there, the partnership developed quickly. With both invoice finance and foreign exchange services in place, Veromia gained the flexibility to manage seasonal peaks, maintain cashflow and continue investing in new collections.
Elise Lowe, Relationship Manager at Bibby Financial Services said:
“ Veromia is a resilient and forward‑thinking business, and we’ve been able to shape a facility that supports both their day‑to‑day operations and long‑term plans. Our funding gives them the confidence and cashflow to keep refining their collections, respond to retailer demand and continue growing in a competitive market.”
Working with Bibby Financial Services
Having dependable access to working capital has allowed Veromia to operate with confidence. The funding supports daily operations, underpins strong relationships with suppliers and retailers and gives the team room to evolve its collections without compromising on service.“Bibby Financial Services was the right choice for us because of the service that they provide. They're very approachable. You can talk to them, and I think that's really important.”
Impact
With BFS behind them, Veromia has been able to navigate market change, protect its cashflow and build on more than two decades of design expertise. The business has refreshed and relaunched key collections, strengthened its offer for retailers and maintained the high service standards it is known for. Today, Veromia remains a recognised and trusted name in occasionwear and inclusive bridal fashion, with the confidence to keep evolving.
