Global SME partner, Bibby Financial Services (BFS), has announced the appointment of Alberto Argentieri as its Head of Operations for Construction Finance for Central and South England.
Alberto is an invoice finance specialist with 16 years’ experience in financial services operations. He joins BFS after spending the past three and a half years as Regional Operations Manager at Skipton Business Finance Ltd, heading up their midlands office. Prior to this, Alberto spent 12 years at HSBC, joining as a Graduate Trainee and moving up through the business to become Corporate Client Director.
Alberto is based in BFS’s headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire, where he will lead a team of four Relationship Managers. Alberto will be focused on further developing BFS’s established construction finance offering.
Speaking of his appointment, Alberto said:

The sector has been hit by declining orders, skills shortages and some instability following the collapse of Carillion in 2018, so it’s now more important than ever that we provide subcontracting businesses with the support they need.
