Our people are our greatest asset, and we have motivated, experienced teams supporting clients across the world. We’re #OneTeam so all of our colleagues are equally important to us, but in the essence of timing, here’s a little bit about our Leadership Team.
Jonathan Andrew
Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan has worked in global financial services and technology for more than 30 years, and was appointed as Global Chief Executive in July 2020.
He has an established record of successfully leading and growing high performing international businesses, in particular as Global Chief Executive of Siemens’ Financial Services Commercial Finance business and a number of GE Capital units.
In his spare time Jonathan enjoys skiing, triathlon and classic car endurance racing (all accompanied by his dog, Benny).

Hannah Bloxham
HR Director
Hannah joined BFS as HR Director in November 2024 with more than 20 years’ experience in HR leadership, having held senior HR positions at Siemens and across the Civil Service.
Hannah has extensive international experience within the financial services sector, having spent four years living in Germany, covering France, Spain, Italy and Germany, and a further three years based out of Hong Kong as the Head of HR for Asia Pacific, both with Siemens Financial Services.
Prior to joining BFS, Hannah was HR Director - Reward, Employee Relations & Insights at ONS, serving an employee base of 5,000 colleagues.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys helping her two young boys with their ambitious Lego creations, serving in her local church and endeavouring to keep the weeds at bay in her garden.

Theo Chatha
Chief Financial Officer
Theo joined BFS in September 2019 having spent 11 years with Close Brothers Group Plc. He’s held a variety of executive roles at Close Brothers, both in the Group Head Office and Banking Divisions, with his last role being Bank Finance Director.
Outside of work, when not being bossed around by his two little girls, Theo enjoys watching snooker, boxing, and basketball being a big fan of Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan.

François D’Abzac
Managing Director, France
François joined BFF 18 years ago and has been Managing Director since 2013. He has over 35 years' experience in factoring, mainly focused on operational management of client portfolios through various executive roles at companies such as General Electric and Société Générale.
He has worked on the launch of new products on the market, such as factoring backed by third-party credit insurance and delegated management contracts. He was involved in setting up a securitization fund backed by commercial receivables in the early 2000s.
Outside of work, François enjoys fly fishing, forestry and astronomy.

Lucile Flamand
Chief Transformation Officer
A French citizen domiciled in the UK, Lucile joined BFS as Chief Strategic Development Officer in 2021 and became Chief Transformation Officer in January 2026. Before joining BFS, she led the Financial Services practice at Clarasys and worked as a management consultant at Baringa Partners.
Lucile has a keen interest in art, in particular life drawing, and is a vocal advocate for gender equity in and out of work.

Mark Holloway
Chief Information and Technology Officer
Mark has worked in financial services and technology for over 20 years and was appointed Chief Information and Technology Officer in April 2025.
Previously, he was a founder member of Ashman Bank and served as CTO, building and scaling the start-up from pre-seed through funding rounds to a being awarded UK banking licence. He also held senior roles at Maple Securities UK and Intelligent Financial Systems and advised Strategic Insight’s LiquidMetrix.
Outside work Mark enjoys time with the family, live music and distance running.

Tomasz Kukulski
Regional Director, Central and Eastern Europe
Tomasz Kukulski is an experienced leader in the financial services sector, specialising in corporate finance and implementing innovative digital solutions. With over 20 years’ experience, he is responsible for strategy and operations in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, supporting SMEs with tailored finance solutions. Previously, he held senior roles at Siemens Financial Services, from his role as Deputy Sales Director through to CEO in Poland and Russia.
Outside work, Tomasz is an avid lover of philosophy and road cycling.

Ian Ramsden
Chief Risk Officer
Ian first joined BFS in 2005 from Barclays PLC where he spent more than 17 years. Following 10 successful years as UK Risk Director, Ian became Chief Risk Officer in January 2016. Ian headed-up our successful securitisation - a process which saw BFS UK increase its total available funding to more than £1bn.
Ian has interests in rugby (both codes) and enjoys all forms of motorsport.

Derek Ryan
UK Managing Director
Derek joined BFS UK in September 2021. He has more than 17 years’ experience in commercial finance having held a variety of senior executive, global operations and strategy positions across the sector, including roles in the UK, Germany, Sweden and Indonesia.
Most recently, Derek was Global Head of Invoice Finance at Siemens Financial Services – Commercial Finance where he also spent time as Head of Global Operations and as CEO for Indonesia and CEO for the Nordics.

Axel Scholz
Chief Revenue Officer
With over 20 years' experience in Working Capital and Asset Finance across various regions and cultures, Axel Scholz joined BFS in January 2021.
Axel, a German citizen living in the UK, has held a number of senior executive roles within the German co-operative banking group and at Siemens Financial Services. He also has extensive experience of building Greenfield finance businesses in Asia Pacific.
Outside of work, Axel enjoys travel, hiking and photography.
