Our West Midlands Team
The West Midlands Business Centre Sales team will work with you from the outset to understand your business and secure the funding you need. For start-ups through to business growth, restructuring and transactional purposes we support borrowing requirements from £50,000 up to a funding line of £15 million.
They also join up with a wider local team covering Construction Finance, Recruitment Finance, International Trade, FX and Leasing to provide a complete range of funding options for local SMEs.
Malcolm Perry (Head of Operations) and his experienced Operations team ensure the smooth running of our client accounts, providing the high levels of service for which BFS are well known.
They work alongside our locally based Risk team, to ensure that underwriting and credit decisions are handled promptly and can all be co-ordinated locally which makes things run more efficiently for our clients.

Business Development Manager
Laura Wilson
Laura has worked for BFS for 5 years. Prior to joining the new business commercial team, Laura spent 3 years as a Relationship Manager within the West Midlands Business Centre. This has given her invaluable knowledge when meeting prospective new clients and allows her to give them a great insight into the life of a BFS client.
Corporate Manager
Chris Sygrove
Chris has worked for BFS since 2013 following nearly a decade in Commercial and Corporate Banking. Chris specialises in structured ABL facilities supporting a wide range of transactions along with bespoke receivables and purchasing lines for corporate businesses across the region.
Business Development Manager
Kully Bargota
Kully has worked with Construction companies for several years and has vast experience. He specialises in funding applications for payment on an uncertified basis, on a confidential basis. He is also a firm believer in putting our clients first, having won the Outstanding Service Excellence award recently.
Head of West Midlands Business Centre
Malcolm Perry
Malcolm has 35 years’ experience working with SME and corporate businesses to support their funding and growth. He places the client at the centre and works alongside our dedicated relationship management team to delivery outstanding client service.
Risk Manager
Liz Hunt
Liz has been with BFS for six years, fulfilling roles from Credit Controller to Relationship Management and most recently, Risk Manager. She has worked on a wide range of live and recovering client portfolios.
Relationship Manager
Ben Frank
Ben has worked in Invoice Finance for several years, following a stint in corporate banking. He is experienced at both structuring and managing various types of working capital facilities, including factoring, trade finance and export finance. Ben has worked with a wide range of businesses, from large corporates to those in the SME space. He is an advocate of adopting a client-centric, flexible approach to funding.
Relationship Manager
Kasia Romaszko
Kasia has over 10 years’ experience within the invoice finance industry in the independent sector and moved over to BFS 6 months ago. Kasia manages and helps support the needs of a portfolio of commercial businesses in industries such as recruitment, manufacturing, engineering and transport.
