Dan has more than 20 years’ experience within commercial finance and corporate banking across the SME and mid-market space. Dan heads up the Corporate North team which provides working capital and cashflow solutions to support a wide range of business goals including growth, expansion, diversification, asset purchase, acquisition and management buy-outs.

Steve Nixon
Steve has worked in Asset Based Lending and Invoice Financing for over 25 years, holding a variety of positions including many years as Southern Sales Director for one of the industry’s leading asset based lenders. Steve and his team offer financial solutions for our more complex clients.
Regional Corporate Manager Construction - London & South East
Matt Dunn
Matt has over 25 years’ experience in Invoice Finance and Banking, primarily in business development and relationship management roles, including many years at HSBC. Having spent the last 13 years at BFS, Matt now specialises in providing funding solutions for Corporate clients in the construction industry.

David McIntyre
Following a 25 year career with the Bank of Scotland and Yorkshire Bank, David joined BFS over 9 years ago. BFS continues to progress its corporate offering, and he has been involved in a number of transactions for some of our largest and more complex client structures.

Christian Nolan
Christian has been at BFS for over 18 years, holding roles at all levels of business development and now works on some of our more complex, large transactions. Over the years, he’s built a loyal introductory base of accountants, insolvency professionals, financial institutions, brokers and business consultants who trust him to structure solutions that meet their client’s needs.
Corporate Manager – London & South East
Michael Reid
Michael joined BFS over 9 years ago as part of our Graduate Sales Academy programme. He has since worked his way up to Corporate Manager and specialises in structuring tailored Asset Based Lending facilities. Michael’s focus is on receivables-led solutions, complemented by cash flow loan, P&M and inventory facilities to meet the diverse funding needs of mid-market businesses.

Alex MacDonald
Alex has worked in the finance industry for over 18 years, holding a variety of business development roles including at RBS Invoice Finance and Secure Trust Bank. He supports businesses in the corporate space across the North with their funding needs and specialises in structuring Asset Based Lending solutions.

Colin Johnson
Colin is a Corporate Manager covering the North West. Having worked in financial services for over 35 years, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise and is well versed in delivering Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending facilities throughout the M&A and restructuring market.

Jack Grieve
Based in the North West, Jack specialises in providing funding solutions to businesses in the construction sector. Having worked in the industry and supported construction SMEs for over 10 years, Jack has vast experience in dealing with contractual debt and funding applications on an uncertified basis.
Assistant Corporate Manager – Scotland
Jennifer McGuffie
Jen has worked in the Finance industry since university and started her career with Lloyds Banking Group, specialising in Asset Finance. Moving into Invoice Finance when she first joined BFS in 2011, Jen has over 10 years’ experience with various funders in Invoice Finance and is experienced in Business Development and assisting the Scottish SME market in finding the right financial solution.
Corporate Manager – South
Glenn Souter
Glenn has been in the industry for over 25 years, originally learning his trade through a variety of roles at HSBC. He then moved into the independent market, working for Hitachi Invoice Finance as a Corporate BDM and Close Brothers Invoice Finance as Deputy Head of Sales - South. Glenn is focused on developing relationships with our introducers, growing the ABL book as well as our presence in the £1m+ deal space.

Jennifer Brown
Jennifer has worked at BFS for over 13 years. First joining as a Sales Exec, she held a range of roles, including a BDM and Trade Finance BDM, before joining the Corporate team as an Assistant Corporate Manager. Jennifer supports businesses across the North and South with a range of funding packages to facilitate growth and support business change.

Sam DeBarr
Sam has been with BFS for over 3 years, first joining as a Sales Executive before progressing to Assistant Corporate Manager. He supports businesses in the Corporate space across the North and the Midlands, working on a range of transactions including Asset Based Lending solutions.

Elliott Butlin
Elliott has worked in Invoice Finance for over 12 years, having previously worked for BFS as a Business Development Manager as well as running his own brokerage. Using his vast knowledge and experience, he structures a range of working capital facilities to support the Corporate sector in the South and East Midlands regions.

Rachel Hollett
Rachel has worked in business development for BFS for over 9 years, prior to this she worked as an accountant. Now covering the Norfolk and Suffolk regions, Rachel is passionate about working closely with local intermediary partners to support the growth of local businesses.
